Rooted In Legacy

In 2016, my mom sewed the first Ambrosia Bag, inspired by how her grandmother kept greens fresh before waste was an option.

What began as a simple act of care has grown into a mission: to make everyday choices that honor our food, our planet, and each other.

Waste Less. Save More.

The average U.S. household wastes over $1,600 worth of produce each year, according to Recycle Track Systems (RTS). Ambrosia Bags are designed to help you get more from what you buy by supporting longer-lasting freshness with natural, reusable storage. This can help you save money, waste less, and make a positive impact, one bag at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are All The Bags The Same?

All of our bags are made with high-quality European flax linen, with each weave selected to suit the needs of specific types of produce. This means your greens, vegetables, berries, and mushrooms each get the storage environment that supports their freshness. Every bag is also unique in size, weight, and functionality.

How Often Should I Wash My Bags?

Wash bags every two weeks or between uses. They can be handwashed or machine washed. Turn inside out before washing and air dry. We recommend using a natural, unscented, non-toxic detergent along with a tablespoon of baking soda. For stains, a white vinegar pre-wash can be helpful.

How Long Will My Bags Last With Regular Use?

With proper care, your bags are made to provide long-lasting use and remain a staple in your kitchen for years to come.

Is The Linen Bleached Or Treated?

Our raw European flax linen is unbleached, untreated, and free from synthetic dyes or chemical finishes. We recommend washing your bag before first use, then every two weeks or between uses, to keep it fresh and ready for produce.
