Why Choose Ambrosia

✓ Breathable flax linen that helps maintain freshness
✓ Helps reduce sogginess without paper towels
✓ Reusable, machine washable, and made to last
✓ Handcrafted in California
✓ Gentle enough for delicate berries

Berries are fragile and quick to spoil. Plastic containers trap moisture, which can speed up mold. The Berry Bag supports a breathable, lower-humidity environment that helps protect berries' skins. Keeping them dry and unwashed until ready to eat helps preserve their natural defenses and extend freshness.

    Perfect berry storage

Love these bags. Berries keep fresh longer. Recommend firmer bottom for easier storage with less damage to vulnerable berries. Would be nice to include detachable tags to help identify what kind a berry I have in different bags or small window in bag.

I no longer have to toss moldy berries

I have used these bags for both grapes and berries. The first time ever that I can keep fruit for up to two weeks. Before using these bags, I was tossing both within the week. They work so well, I bought extra for friends and family as stocking stuffers for Christmas!

    Happy

I like that strawberries stay fresh longer. They don’t get all wrinkled like before. I’m still trying to understand what yo do with blueberries. May need to read instructions again. I have them loose mixed with the strawberries but they get messy. Still way better than before!

    Best berry keeper ever had

Store blueberries in one and strawberries in another. Love freshness bag maintains. Nothing else I have tried worked as well. Much longer berry life. Have machine washed, air dried overnight between shopping more fruit. The linen is excellent quality. For berries I would suggest a double, thicker or reinforced, same linen fabric on bottom to. firm up bottom better.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I store berries?

Keep berries dry and unwashed until you’re ready to eat them. Store them in the bag on a fridge shelf to allow airflow and help reduce moisture buildup. For extra staying power, you can rinse berries in a light vinegar bath, air dry them completely, and then store them in the bag once fully dry.

Why dry?

Berries are delicate and sensitive to excess water. Keeping them dry in breathable linen helps slow early spoilage and preserve their texture.

Which berries work best?

The Berry Bag works perfectly for strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries.

How often should I wash it?

Wash every one to two weeks, or after each use if storing different fruit. Cold wash, mild detergent, air dry fully before reuse.

Why better than plastic or paper?

Plastic traps moisture, while paper draws it out. Linen allows natural airflow, helping berries stay plump and fresh longer.

Are materials sustainable?

Yes. The body of each Ambrosia Bag is made from European flax linen, a renewable, low-impact textile used for natural food storage. The zipper is made by YKK in the USA for durability and long-term use. Every order plants a tree and supports Food Forward’s food recovery programs to help reduce food waste and nourish local communities.
