    Bags

The refrigerator bags are fantastic. My greens from the grocer or my garden stay crisp until they are gone, sometimes a week, sometimes longer. Before, I wasted money which I don't like to do, because the greens would not last but a few days regardless of how I stored them. I am one happy customer.

Love fresh mushrooms, but I’m tired of tossing half of them. My new bag extends their life.

I am so grateful I found this company. These bags have saved me so much money. I just gave my sister-in-law 2 bags as she is thrilled. Losing produce is throwing money away!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I store mushrooms?

Keep mushrooms dry and refrigerate them inside the bag. The linen allows airflow that helps minimize condensation and maintain their firm texture.

Should I wash mushrooms first?

No. It’s best to store mushrooms dry and brush off any dirt before cooking. A soft cloth or mushroom brush works best for cleaning right before use.

What mushrooms work best?

All fresh mushrooms such as shiitake, cremini, portobello, oyster, and button benefit from the Mushroom Bag’s breathable design.

Can I keep the bag in the crisper drawer?

You can, but a fridge shelf often works best since it’s slightly drier and helps prevent moisture buildup.

How often should I wash it?

Wash every one to two weeks, or after use if residue builds up. Cold wash, mild detergent, air dry fully before reuse.

Are materials sustainable?

Yes. The body of each Ambrosia Bag is made from European flax linen, a renewable, low-impact textile used for natural food storage. The zipper is made by YKK in the USA for durability and long-term use. Every order plants a tree and supports Food Forward’s food recovery programs to help reduce food waste and nourish local communities.

Through our partnership with Ecodrive, every Ambrosia order helps plant a mangrove tree, off-setting carbon and nurturing a healthier planet
