How To Clean

✓ Turn inside out and shake out crumbs
✓ Hand wash with mild soap and warm water
✓ Avoid soaking or twisting
✓ Hang or air dry completely before next use
✓ Do not machine wash or dry

Regular handwashing keeps the beeswax coating intact and helps the canvas perform at its best.

About The Material

The Ambrosia Bread Bag is made from food-grade beeswaxed ripstop canvas, a natural alternative to disposable plastic and paper packaging. The waxed canvas forms a protective barrier that helps shield bread from the elements, slowing moisture loss to keep loaves from drying out while reducing trapped humidity that can lead to mold. Durable and reusable, it’s designed to support natural food storage and preserve the integrity of your favorite breads without plastic.

Directions

Storing bread without plastic is simple and satisfying when you understand what it needs. Bread stays best in a protected environment that limits air exposure without trapping too much moisture. The Ambrosia Bread Bag helps you find that balance.

Cool before storing – Always let fresh bread cool completely before placing it in the bag to avoid condensation.

Seal and store – Place your loaf inside, roll the top closed, and secure the cord around the button that best fits your loaf size.

Choose your method – Keep on the counter for up to several days, or refrigerate for longer storage. The beeswaxed canvas helps maintain interior softness while keeping crusts pleasantly crisp.

Perfect for home bakers and anyone who wants to keep their bread better — naturally.

    Bread stays fresh longer

We love the Costco baguettes and other freshly-baked breads. They don't last long in plastic. The Ambrosia waxed bag is genius. The bread stays soft for nearly a week, as long as you don't overstuff the bag with long pieces of the baguettes and you seal it tightly. Rinse out in cold water and let it dry between breads. Heat will destroy the wax. I also have a set of the produce bags and I love them.

    Best Bread Bag from Ambrosia

I used to put my bread in the fridge until I learned to put fresh bread in the freezer and take out what was needed. Ambrosia bags keep bread fresh. All I do is warm it up and it tastes just as good as the day I bought them from the bakery. Love my Ambrosia bread bags!!

    I'm not sure, yet.

I think I may not be sure because it's so different, from what I'm used to using. Can peppers be in the same bag as zucchini? Can onions be put in the bag? I haven't tried that, but I'm don't see how the onion smell will stay contained. Those sort of questions still float through my head. They work well for leafy greens. Carrots seem to be successful. So far, I like them, but I still have questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use it?

Place your loaf (sliced or unsliced) inside the bag, roll the top closed, and secure the cord around the button. Store on the counter for daily use or in the fridge for longer freshness.

Can I store any type of bread?

Yes. The bag works for most loaves including sourdough, baguettes, and sandwich bread. Avoid very wet doughs or freshly baked bread that is still warm.

How does it work?

The beeswaxed canvas forms a natural barrier that helps hold moisture inside the loaf while preventing excess humidity that can cause mold. It keeps crusts crisp and interiors soft without plastic.

How do I clean it?

Turn inside out, shake out crumbs, and hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Avoid soaking. Hang or air dry completely before reuse.

Can I wash it in the machine?

No. Machine washing can damage the natural beeswax coating. Hand wash only for best performance and longevity.
