Woman holding a reusable linen produce bag and explaining how it helps keep food fresh longer and saves money compared to plastic bags.

Old-world wisdom with modern-day functionality. Keep vegetables fresher, longer.

Each Ambrosia Produce Bag is designed for a specific type of produce, from leafy greens to berries to mushrooms, so your food stays fresh longer and less ends up in the compost.

Crafted from carefully selected flax linen, our breathable textile helps regulate moisture and airflow to create a healthier storage environment. Not too damp. Not too dry. Just balanced.

Plastic traps condensation. Cotton holds excess moisture. Linen allows air to circulate while maintaining the humidity produce needs to thrive.

The result is a simple, reusable system that keeps greens crisp, vegetables firm, and helps replace single use plastic bags and paper towels for good.

    These really work!

I ordered these with some skepticism. They are expensive and I wasn't sure they would work, but I got the Earth day discount and bought them. They DO work! I found mushrooms (even when I didn't spray the bag) were fresh for more than a week -- usually it's only a few days and they start to spoil.

Asparagus, eggplant, peppers -- all came out of my veggie bag looking like I just got them fresh after almost two weeks. We are trying the berry bag now, but I expect it to be just as good.

They are a little pricey, but if you factor in the cost of each bunch of asparagus and each container of mushrooms I throw away sadly otherwise, they are VERY worth it. Especially if you travel and can't get to all that produce in time, this will make those veggies last and stay fresh till your return.

The only down side is that it is hard to remember what you have in the opaque bag, so produce might still get forgotten. A little label on the bag to write the type of produce you put inside would be a bonus -- right now I'm thinking post-it note on the fridge will have to do.

In addition the customer service is great - I got a quick reply to my question about herbs - and now they have an herb bag too! Highly recommended. I'm going to buy a set for my sister.

Freshness Redefined

Ambrosia Bags blend old-world tradition with modern innovation to give fresh produce a naturally better home in the fridge.

Made from raw flax linen, this carefully selected textile is breathable, absorbent, and air permeable. Rather than trapping moisture, the linen absorbs excess humidity while its unique weave allows air to circulate. Together, this balance of moisture management and airflow helps create a naturally effective environment for produce storage.

The result is longer-lasting freshness, less waste, and a simple, sustainable alternative to disposable storage.
